Syracuse reentered the Top 25 poll on Monday after nearly a month-long absence.

After being unranked since Jan. 2, Syracuse (15-7, 6-3 Atlantic Coast) got back into the AP Top 25 Poll, slotting in at No. 24.

In weeks past, the Orange’s strong play got it a lot of votes, frequently ranking near the top of teams that received votes but weren’t ranked. In the past week, SU beat then-No. 14 Miami at home and went on the road to beat then-No. 19 Virginia Tech. The Orange now has four wins against ranked opponents this year, the most in a regular season in program history.

Six other ACC schools are ranked in the Top 25: Florida State (6), Notre Dame (7), Louisville (9), Duke (15), Miami (16) and North Carolina State (19).

Syracuse hosts unranked Pittsburgh (12-9, 3-5) on Thursday night.
